Nugent Care - Recycle for Schools - Spring 1 2025

This half term we are collecting again to support Nugent Care.

• We are donating any unwanted clothing in donation bags to be collected on Thursday 13th February

• Recycle for Schools collect our bags, weigh them and provide us with a donation amount that we will pass on to Nugent Care

NSPCC - Number Day 2025 - Spring 1 2025

We took part in NSPCC Number Day on February 7th

• Our parents joined us for a range of Maths activities in class and we dressed or accessorised with numbers

CAFT - Nativity Performance Collections - Autumn 2 2024

Our Advent Charity choice was CAFT

• We held collection boxes during our Christmas Nativity performances to ask parents and visitors for donations instead of paying for tickets.

• Our resource base pupils, staff, and some Year 6 partners visited CAFT for a day trip to learn more

Widnes Foodbank - Domino Cereal Challenge - Autumn 1 2024

Our first charity appeal of the new school year was at Harvest time

• We collected over 230 boxes of cereal for Widnes Foodbank

CAFOD - Lent Charity Sponsored Walk - Spring 2 2024

This year, our annual Lent Charity walk was in aid of CAFOD

• We took part in the BIG LENT WALK on our school field.

• This year, our parents joined our walk for the first time

• We followed a huge scavenger trail, finding facts about CAFOD's work and the Ichthys Fish symbol

• We raised an amazing £375!
