EYFS - Mother's Day Collective Worship

Today we invited parents and carers to attend our Mother's Day Collective Worship. 

Y3 - Parent Collective Worship - Building Bridges

Date: 1st Jul 2024 @ 5:01pm

At the end of our current topic 'Building Bridges' we gathered our parents for a Collective Worship.

Our theme was all about reconciliation, with God, each other and ourselves.

We performed a dance to 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and showed some of our art work that we had produced in lessons. This showed a friend that we were close to, and a way that we could make our friendship bridge stronger.

Y4 - Collective worship - Sacramental Celebration

Year 4 delivered a wonderful collective worship for parents and carers. The focus was on the sacrament of reconciliation and for those who took part in their Holy Communion. 

Y6 - Parent Collective Worship - Peace

We did a collective worship about peace to begin our school year of peace. 

The collective worship included readings, prayers, song, dance and drama. 

It was lovely to see so many parents at the collective worship. 

Y6 - Visit to Liverpool Cathedral - Advent Service

Year 6 attended an Advent service at the cathedral in Liverpool. 

The Christmas story was told through word, song and drama. We sang along with the songs and took gifts for the charity Nugent Care.

Y1 - Parent Collective Worship - Galilee to Jerusalem

Collective Worship. The children participated in a collective worship with their families about our RE topic Galilee to Jerusalem. 

Y3 & Y4 - Respond Collective Worship - New Life

As our Respond at the end of our New Life topic, we planned and delivered our Collective Worship in our mixed group classes.

Y3 - Parent Collective Worship - Giving & Receiving

Year 3 led a wonderful Collective Worship for our families to join us.

Our theme was 'Giving and Receiving' 

We were able to share what these words meant to us. 

"I give when I help Mum & Dad out at home" - Lily

"I give my time for others and always try to include people in my games" - Curtis

"When I receive present for my birthday I show how grateful I am by giving the person a big hug" - Lola

We learnt and performed Noah & the Whale 'Give a Little Love'

Whole School Collective Worship - Crowning of Mary

On Wednesday 22nd May, school celebrated a beautiful Collective Worship for the crowning of Mary as May is the month of Mary.

Thank you to Father Clarke for leading our worship alongside our RE Ambassadors and some Year 6 children.
